Motion carried. 3.Approval of Minutes –September 10, 2025 Regular Meeting Vice Chair Read motioned to approve minutes as presented; Commissioner Wagner seconded. Motion carried. 4.Bills/Budget Menke provided an update on the 2025 budget as it stands along with the projected and actual spend for the year. 5.BUSINESS a.Artist Survey Discussion Menke introduced the draft questionnaire intended for local area artists that produce art as a full-time or part-time job to understand the needs of the arts community. There was discussion about what to add or remove from the list of questions and if there are resources that could be included in it. Staff will revise the questions and generate the survey form after the new City website goes live in December. 6.Reports + Information a.Civic Arena mural update Menke provided an update on the status of the Civic Arena mural project. The plan is to install it in October or November. b.Dakota County Future of Public Arts Meeting Menke provided an update on a meeting that he attended surrounding arts in Dakota County. There were no action items to come out of it, but will likely attend further meetings in the future. Arts and Culture Commission Page 2 of 2 c.Annual Update –October 20 Staff was tentatively scheduled to provide an annual update to City Council at the October 20th meeting, but it was not finalized. 7.Adjourn Commissioner McCoy motioned to adjourn at 6:28 p.m. Seconded by Commissioner McNeally. Motion carried. The next Arts and Culture Commission meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 12th,at 6:00 p.m.in the Volunteer Room at City Hall.
