HomeMy WebLinkAboutIV.B.1 - Resolution - Approving Facade Improvement Progam Grant for Masonic Block Parking LotThis instrument drafted by: City of Hastings 101 East 4th Street Hastings, MN 55033 CITY OF HASTINGS DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA HEDRA RESOLUTION NO. 2024-15 A RESOLUTION OF THE HASTINGS ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (HEDRA) APPROVING FAÇADE IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM GRANT FOR MASONIC BLOCK PARKING LOT WHEREAS, On November 10th, 2021 HEDRA adopted a Façade Improvement Program; and WHEREAS, HEDRA received an application from Barb Hollenbeck, Hafstad Real Estate LLC, and David + Stacy Lofgren (“Applicants”) for eligible improvements at PID 193215014064, also known as the Masonic Block Parking Lot; and WHEREAS, the proposed improvements do not require review by the Heritage Preservation Commission (HPC); and WHEREAS, the total eligible expenses for the proposed scope of work has a cost of $11,500.00; and WHEREAS, the Façade Improvement Program requires a 2:1 match of private dollars to any grant dollars provided by HEDRA up to the maximum amount allowed by HEDRA; and WHEREAS, grant dollars shall be disbursed in a reimbursement fashion once the Applicant has completed all proposed improvements and received approval for any permits and inspections; and WHEREAS, the Applicant shall submit receipts for reimbursement within (4) four month of receiving final grant approval or face forfeiture of the grant funds in their entirety unless an extension is requested and approved by HEDRA; and NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That HEDRA approves of a façade improvement program grant to Levi Hafstad in the amount of $3,833.33 ADOPTED BY THE HASTINGS ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY THIS 10TH DAY OF OCTOBER 2024.
