Minutes of the Nov. 1st Meeting
of the Hastings Planning Commission
Members Present:

The first order of business uas a discussion of tax on the Conzemius,plat. It
uas moved by Solaim, and seconded by Siebrecht that the Commission accept the
follot;ing proposals t¡hieh conform to the proposed plat:
1) That the complete par~ srea be dedicated by Mr. Conzemius and accepted
by the collllllission which will total eight (8) acres - - one (1) acre of
which is presently plotted. '

That the extension of Lynn ~¡ay north to the frontage road slonz High>Jay 55
be dedicated by Mr. Conzemius.
3)
Access from the Park to Lynn Way be dedicated by Mr. Conzemius (part of the
proposed Bahls drive). This involves the dedication of the north thirty-three
(33) feet of this portion of the street.

The dedicated park area to be knot.m as the "John J. Conzemius Pat'k".
5)
At present, the frontage r02d to the e:dt to Highway 55 \lould be dedic.1ted
by Mr. Conzemius -- the exit to Highway 55 would be according to the
Minnesota State Highway Department recommendations.
Due to the lack of time, the Olson rezoning request and the Skylark Airport
project was tabled. Mr. Moen's sub-committee report will be reconsidered at
the ne>:t meeting.
The meeting \las then turned over to our Professional Planners. Mr. Crouch
reVietled the highl ights of the planning studies thus far submitted. Mr. R:Jdne
reviewed his company's preliminary thoughts regarding basic long-range development
objectives for the City of Rastingso
Mr. Rodne also expressed some disappointment regarding the amount of "Feedback"
regarding the enalyses thus far presented for consideration from the vlJrious
citizens lmd organization t'lith the city.
A point of interest for all concerned with the future of Hastings is the
November 16th meeting sponsored by the Hastings Library Board \lherein Mr. Rodne -
Our Professional Planner will give a public presentation of planning to date.
