Members ?re£e~t: Fluegel, Karpen, Nelson, Siebrecht, Soleim, Bauer, Truax, Petersen Guests P1:ese.~t: Steffes, Davidson, Erickson, Oys, Mrs. Miller, Willis Olson, Mrs. Schumacher, Schumacher, O'Connell After much discussion regarding the proposed improvement plans for the Northwest Area of lIDstings, including the proposed Imperial development, the following motions were made and passed by the Commission. *' 'Ij"'" (1) Moved by Bauer and seconded by Karpen, that the Commission reaffirm its previous 8uggestí.on to the City Council that the trunk sewer for this area be sized to accommodate the whole area, if and when, such trunk sewer is approved by the Council. This position is in keeping with the principals of the Commission in its efforts to plan for the future groeth of the t~'n. (2) Moved by Truax and seconded by Nelson, that the Commission recommends that the Council acquire the gravel pit area as a poDding basin for the area and that such costs that are necessary for the acquisition be assessed throughout the area benefited. A report of the committee studying the Bauer Plet ~ns given by Trusx. The committee recommended that the tentative plat as amended be approved. The next step for Mr. Bauer would be the presentation of the final plat for approval. There was no report from the committee reger.ding the Kramer Plat. However, this committee was given a petition from the area requesting that the aree be rezoned from R3 to Rl. The conll1littee (Truex, Chairman, Karpen, Fluegel) will report on both projects the next meeting. There was also no report from the committee regarding the Olson Greenhouse Plat. A report from this committee (Moen, ChsiTInen, Siebrecht. Karpen) might be forthcoming at the next meeting. Also, a report from the commfitee studying the Haven Homes request (Soleim, Chairman, Nelson, Moen) also might be forthcoming at the next meeting.
