HFS Parapet:
Winter icicles would reach halfway
to the sidewalk and then when
they melted, it would create a
ridge on the sidewalk that would
then freeze again. Because it
wasn’t level then, people would
step on it and fall especially if it got
covered by snow again. Ice melt
couldn’t keep up, and it was also
very annoying for people who
were getting dripped on every time
it snowed and melted!
Hastings Family Service at 311 2nd Street East:
In disrepair and home to many wasps! The view from inside the office. Low and dark.
The brick will be exposed all the way up the building and be lighter and more attractive in
addition to creating a much safer sidewalk for pedestrians.
